Biography

Sergio started practicing judo at the age of 4 in Sao Paolo, Brasil. His father, himself an ex-olympian and Brasilian judo champion, has played an important role in his son carreer, by providing support through the good and the bad times. Sergio is quick to underline that is family has been critical in his success, not only his father but also his mother and two brothers, Danilo and Diego. When is not either training or studying finance at Concordia University, Sergio keeps busy playing tennis, the play station 3 or looking out at the financial market.
