World Championships for Master athletes (or Veterans) will take place in Sindelfingen Germany, on May 28/31, 2009.  For more details on the event, click here.  Individual entries are accepted and there are no limits on the number of entries per country.  When making your arrangements for this event, please notify Judo Canada of your entry.  Judo Canada will make one bulk confirmation of membership in good standing for all Canadians entered in this event. 

 

Please remember that the 2009 National Senior, Kata and Veterans Championships will take place in Sherbrook QC, on  May 22/24, with the Veterans event taking place on the 24th.  This is a perfect opportunity for athletes planning to compete in Sindelfingen.  Make arrangements for your travel to Germany with a stop over in Montreal and participate in the Canadian Championships which will be a perfect tuning event prior to the challenge of the World Championships.
