A Great Loss to Canadian Judo.

A Great Loss to Canadian Judo

It is with great sorrow that Judo Canada announces the passing of Mr. Yoshio Senda in Lethbridge, AB, on Wednesday, September 9 2009.  Born in 1922 and Canada's only Kudan, he devoted his life to the development of judo and touched the lives of thousands of judokas.  He will be sorely missed as he leaves a large void in the judo community.  Judo Canada wishes to extend its condolences to his family and close friends.
