Montreal, June 27, 2019 – Judo Canada is proud to count on numerous partners to offer the best possible services to their athletes. New partners are now adding their name to the list, just in time for the Canada Cup and the Montreal Grand Prix held in the next few days: Décor Experts Expo (DEE) and dealerships from Groupe Gabriel: Kia Gabriel North, Kia Gabriel Ouest, and Lexus Gabriel St-Laurent.

DEE will be providing the equipment necessary to host and enhance the visual quality of the events. Kia will be offering free car to help transport the people and equipment.

Nicolas Gill, CEO and High Performance Director of Judo Canada, is please to see the interest of companies to sponsor the events of the federation: “Their contribution is a key element of the event logistics. Judo Canada is planning to host several tournaments in 2020: the IBSA Pan American Championships in January, and the Senior Pan American Championships in April, both of which are part of the Olympic qualification process, and we have submitted our application to the International Judo Federation to host another international tournament in 2021. Support from partners like DEE and Kia allows us to meet our needs, but also to enhance the quality of our services to athletes and leaders. We are very proud to welcome them into our big Canadian judo family. »

Partners are also very enthusiastic when looking at future projects. John Bannerman, of DEE, said: “We jumped on the chance we were offered of partnering with Judo Canada. We are proud to be a part of this project and for many years to come.” Mario Santangelo, of Groupe Gabriel, added: “We are committed to providing the best service to our clients and ensuring driving their car is a delight for years to come. With our team of qualified and certified technicians, genuine Kia parts and competitive prices, we can provide the best Kia has to offer to Judo Canada. They can drive with a good peace of mind and use their energy in other aspects of the organization.”
