Judo Canada is proud to announce that the construction of the new National Training Center, integrated within the Institut national du sport du Québec and located inside the Montreal Olympic park (INS-Quebec; https://www.google.ca/maps/place/3200+Rue+Viau/@45.563185,-73.551407,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x4cc91c11971a11c3:0x180f7caa3e049111), is almost completed.  The annual summer camp on August 4th will be our first activity in this new facility.

This World-class facility will offer four full mat areas (312 tatamis).  As a resident sport of the INS Quebec, Judo athletes and coaches will share various multisport facilities with gymnastics, fencing and all aquatic disciplines and access sport science and medical services according to the sport service plan.  The exact details of the NTC’s operations and service plan are being developed and will be distributed shortly.

We would like to thank the Shidokan Judo Club for hosting the national team and staff for more than four decades. Without the support of the Club and its Head Coach, Hiroshi Nakamura, Judo in Canada would not be the success story it is today.  Thank you for everything!
